Salt Mine Workshop was founded in 2020 in a spare room in a basement in upstate NY.  Shortly after, I moved to Vermont and converted a 3 car garage into a woodworking shop.  

At first I specialized in making crafts that I intended to sell online and at events.  Things like cutting boards, keepsake boxes, bottle openers.  While I still make these from time to time, keeping inventory for an online shop wasn’t the direction I wanted to take.   My true passion was handmade furniture and custom cabinetry.

Fast forward to present day and my wife, two daughters, and I built a new standalone woodworking shop next to our future home in Hartland, Vermont.  I hope to making custom woodworking projects in our new homestead for years to come!
